I’ve always been drawn to learning about cultures and ways of life around the world. What started as a love for research—studying countries, neighborhoods, customs, and hidden details—naturally grew into a passion for exploring them firsthand.
That curiosity turned into a dedication to helping others explore the world as well. With a detail-oriented and personable approach, I believe thoughtful planning is what allows travel to feel seamless, immersive, and unforgettable. From choosing the right neighborhoods and experiences to balancing culture with comfort, every detail is intentionally considered so each trip feels personal, effortless, and truly special.

Travel By Nikki does charge a nonrefundable planning fee. The fee for each trip varies based on factors such as the number of travelers, destination, length of stay, and the level of planning support needed, including how many trip components you’d like assistance with. The specific planning fee for your trip will be discussed in detail during your complimentary consultation call, where we’ll review your travel goals and the level of support you’re looking for.

When you book with Travel by Nikki, we’ll walk you through all available options—including travel insurance—so you feel confident and protected before your trip. If you ever need to cancel or make changes, we will handle the coordination with suppliers on your behalf, explain next steps clearly, and guide you through your options. When you’re ready, we’ll also help you move forward and begin planning your next trip with ease.

Our general rule of thumb for planning ahead is:
Europe: 9–12 months in advance, especially for summer travel (May–September).
Mexico / Caribbean: 6–9 months in advance; be mindful of hurricane season (June–November).
Hawaii: 6–12 months in advance due to high year-round demand—especially for flights and car rentals.
Africa (Safari/Exotic): 12–18 months in advance, as safari lodges are limited and logistics are more complex.
